Toyota Kirloskar Motors India has launched the diesel version of Corolla Altis Sedan car.Toyota Altis Diesel is the first diesel sedan from the Toyota Kirloskar Motors Limited launched in India. It is powered by a 1.4-litre D-4D diesel engine, and produces about 89 bhp of peak power and 19.4 kgm of peak torque.Toyota Altis Diesel sports a six-speed manual gearbox.It is tuned more for efficiency and driveability rather than outright acceleration and performance. Toyotal Altis Diesel is available in seven colours – Silver Mica Metallic, Champagne Mica Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic, White Pearl Mica, Light Blue Mica Metallic, Super White and Black Mica.
